High Holiday Info
The Movable Minyan conducts a full schedule of services for the High Holy Days at our home at the Institute of Jewish Education. Our services are led by congregants, rather than clergy, and offer all who attend an opportunity to enter fully into the Days of Awe through song, interpretation, and study sessions. We use the Conservative Judaism's Rabbinical Assembly's High Holy prayer book “Mahzor Lev Shalem". The machzor (prayer book) takes a contemporary approach and uses Hebrew with transliteration and inspiring English interpretations of many of the prayers and psalms.
Our approach to the High Holy days integrates interpretive, spiritual, and educational ideas. Our services are filled with music, song, spirituality and group discussions with pot-luck lunches on Rosh Hashanah.
Fees
Membership (includeds High Holy Day Tickets): $660 family/$330 individual.
High Holy Day tickets only. Full Series: $200/adult or one day: $60/adult.
