Please, b’vakasha, contact us. In a Jewish community this big, how else will we ever meet? Our Minyan community always needs new friends. We welcome your questions and comments. Phone us at 310-285-3317. Or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Each Shabbat morning, a member of the minyan asks a question based on that morning’s Torah reading that can be answered by each person having an alliyah. Here is recent question: In the portion B’shallah, Exodus13:17-14:31, the Children of Israel are wandering in the desert. In preparation for Shabbat, and so that they will have food for Shabbat, each household of the Children of Israel is told to collect a double portion of manna. Today, in preparation for your own Shabbat, your own day of rest, think of something of which you would like to collect a double portion. If you like, send us your answer.
